Requirement to notify transfer of ownership of deactivated firearms, has been revoked.
For information, The Firearms Regulations, 2019, in respect of the requirement to notify the authorities of the transfer of ownership of deactivated firearms, has been revoked. Therefore as of the 4th March, 2026, owners will no longer be required to notify the authorities of the transfer of ownership of a deactivated firearm.
